- Storage: Two methods: pick leaves from stem and keep wrapped in paper towel. Place in seal-tight bag and refrigerate. -OR- cut off bottom 1/2 inch of stems and place in jar filled with water. Place a bag or covering over the basil and store in fridge. Change water frequently.
